With LiLi as the signature on her works, LiLi, whose native place is Tanshan City, Hebei Province, was born in Guizhou Province, China in 1962. She began to learn drawing at the age of 9, and graduated from Department of D¨Ścor of Shanghai Theatre Acadamy in 1988.
